Vikram Jambulapati headshot

Vikram Jambulapati is a PhD student in the Economics Department at UC San Diego and a Research Fellow with CPL. His research interests are in behavioral economics and public finance, and his current work focuses on household finance. At CPL, he co-authored a policy brief examining the impact of the federal student loan payment pause. Vikram also leads the CPL Summer Institute where undergraduates from across the University of California system build their data skills and explore careers in public policy by contributing to CPL projects. Prior to his doctoral studies at UCSD, he worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). He holds an MS from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from the University of Chicago.
