Sarah Hoover is a Data Analyst at the California Policy Lab at UC Berkeley. Sarah is passionate about using technology for social good and is a firm believer in the power of data-driven policymaking. She seeks to combine her interests in analytics, technology, and social justice through her work at CPL. She is particularly interested in researching income inequality and racial equity. Prior to joining CPL, Sarah was a Data Analyst at Bloomberg LP where she assisted with the automation of data processing tasks and produced data analytics. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Hamilton College, and is currently completing her Masters in Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley. Outside of work, you can find her searching for the perfect coffeeshop, reading, or listening to her favorite musical theater albums.
