Summer Institute Research Fellow
Kenny Morris is a Summer Institute Research Fellow and is a graduating senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara double majoring in Global Studies & Communication. Born and raised in North County San Diego, he is especially passionate about local and global environmental justice, as well as studying and strengthening the United States labor movement, with research experience focused on Amazon union organizing, US anti-union legislation, and pollution hotspots in California. Outside of class he is very involved in the UCSB Student Activist Network, and is currently the VP of the UCSB International Relations Honors Society. Kenny loves reading, surfing, backpacking, and he is very excited to start with the California Policy Lab!
