Kara Segal is a recent Master of Public Policy graduate from the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy. She is interested in economic opportunity, distributive justice, and tax policy. Prior to graduate school, Kara worked in education and economic development in New York City, where her work supported low-income and immigrant entrepreneurship. Kara is a former Coro Fellow in Public Affairs and holds a B.A. in Education Studies from Brown University.
