Ismael Soto is a Master of Public Policy student at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy. As part of CPL’s 2020 Summer Fellows Cohort, Ismael is conducting research using the University of California Consumer Credit Panel (UCCCP). Prior to graduate school, Ismael worked in the non-profit and public sectors. Most recently, Ismael was a public servant working with the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) to assist in administering the nation’s legal immigration system. Ismael holds a B.A. in Political Economy and a minor in Chican@ studies from U.C. Berkeley.
