Gustavo Rodriguez is a Data Analyst for the California Policy Lab, where he is working on research focused on the role that work-sharing and other social safety-net programs played in supporting Californians during the COVID-19 crisis. Gustavo first became interested in the role evidence-based policymaking could play in improving the lives of Californians while working as a staff member for State Assemblyman Adam Gray. He holds a BA in applied mathematics and an MA in economics from UC Merced. In his free time, Gus enjoys baking sweets, running, and bike riding.
