Summer Institute Research Fellow
Diana Lúa is a Summer Institute Research Fellow and is a recent graduate of the University of California, Merced with her B.A. in Political Science and minor in Sociology. Her recent projects have focused on higher education accessibility and access to resources in California’s Central Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research interests include education inequity, immigration, and resource accessibility. Before joining the California Policy Lab, she was a Research Assistant at UC Merced’s Department of Political Science, aiding Ph.D. students and faculty. She has also worked alongside the California Department of Education’s Government Affairs Division advancing legislative research and analysis.
