Daniela Dula Mejia
Summer Institute Research Fellow
Daniela Dula Mejia is a Summer Institute Research Fellow and is in her third year at UC Davis working towards completing a Bachelors in Arts in Philosophy and Political Science with a public service emphasis. She uses the application of philosophy in her everyday life and likes to refer to political science as philosophy in motion. She is a first generation college student as well as recent transfer from the Peralta Community College system in the East Bay. Her recent experience of working with the U.S Census Bureau as an enumerator has given her real life data inputting experience and survey skills. Some interesting facts are that she lives at the UC Davis on-campus co-ops and is part of the Davis Feminist Film Festival internship team this year. She loves to rock climb, slackline, and camp with her partner whenever they have free time.
