Becca Brough is pursuing her PhD in Economics at UC Davis. As a Research Fellow at CPL, she supports mobility-related projects using the University of California Consumer Credit Panel.

In her own research, Becca focuses on topics related to poverty programs, education policy, and the economics of the family.

Prior to starting her PhD, Becca completed her BA in Economics and Politics at the University of Virginia. She then worked as a Research Associate at Notre Dame’s Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO). At LEO, Becca managed a series of randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental studies related to subsidized transportation, criminal justice, and education interventions. She is excited to continue data-driven work on policy-relevant topics here at CPL.
