Homelessness Research Accelerator

The Research Accelerator advances policy research to end homelessness by leveraging Los Angeles County’s homelessness data and a network of researcher expertise.

Background

The Research Accelerator is a data enclave hosted by California Policy Lab at UCLA containing de-identified Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS) data for use by members of the Homelessness Policy Research Institute. Its purpose is to make HMIS data available to HPRI members working to solve homelessness in Los Angeles. HPRI is a collaborative of over thirty researchers and policymakers that advance equitable and culturally informed solutions to homelessness in Los Angeles County through fostering transformational partnerships between research, policy, and practice.
